Week 11: Full Body Flow

This week I practiced along to a short 20 minute video on Youtube on the channel Yoga With Adriene. The name of the video was Full Body Flow. Like usual, the space that the instructor uses gives off calming and natural vibes with the white walls, plants, open space, and natural lighting. Since this weeks theme was the body, I wanted to find a practice that was simple yet focused on the body as a whole.

Depending on who you ask, the body has many different purposes. One person may say that our bodies a temporary and we should enjoy it while we can. Another person may say that it is physical way for your soul to exist and sends energy throughout the body. The more you connect with your body the more you make a connection with your soul and the divine.

There are many different ways to connect with your bodies and connect to the divine. For example, with tantra, you are using your body's energies and letting it flow through you. It allows you to connect to your body in a different way than exercising. Another way to connect to ones mind and body is through meditation. Meditation allows you to focus on your body and block any outside interruptions. When one is in tune with their mind, body, and soul, they are closer to the divine.
